I, Neal M. Rudikoff, am a Licensed Professional Engineer in New York State, where I was born and raised, and in the Commonwealth of Virginia I have nearly 50 years engineering, management, and business experience. I received a BS in Physics in 1965 from the City College of New York and a MS in Mechanical Engineering in 1971 from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, with a major in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
My varied career has led me from working as a scientist at General Applied Science Laboratories, developing advanced propulsion systems for NASA to responsibility as a Senior Engineer and Manager at Grumman Corporation where I worked on the Lunar Module Moon Landing and F-14 Aircraft Projects. I was a Project Engineer and Manager with Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation on a variety of projects between 1975 and 1986. Currently I am President and CEO of New York Engineering Associates, P.C., a New York based engineering corporation which I founded in 1987.
I served as an advisory member to the local school board when my children were younger, served as President of the Community Association in the town where we have our summer home, and I served 15 years on the Board of Fire Commissioners for the Fair Harbor Fire District on Long Island, New York. I am also an active volunteer fireman and answer numerous emergency fire and medical calls.
As a member of the Board of the Oasis Sanctuary, I actively participate in fund-raising, I work on the design and engineering for flight habitats, as well as other infrastructure, and utilize my varied management and organizational experience to benefit the organization. My wife Pat and I now own a home approximately 4 miles from The Oasis, spend winter months in Arizona and spend lots of time volunteering and assisting whenever we can. In fact, since she is also on the Board, and is somewhat more loquacious than I, a visit to her page will basically give you a summary of our history as bird lovers, our involvement with the Oasis, and our focus in life, and will save me telling the same story.
