In my role, I will be administering fundraising campaigns, initiatives and strategies, maintaining and expanding existing programs and grant management. And of course helping out where ever I’m needed.

Although my formal education at Oregon State University was a BS in business administration, emphasis in accounting, it provided a stepping stone to various career opportunities.

Prior to The Oasis, I was as a program and grants manager with a major non-profit animal welfare funder.

My background also includes relationship/account management in the healthcare and medical device industry, working with large nonprofit hospital systems, financial software implementation, consulting, training, financial accounting and project management.

Recognizing the need for companion parrot education in the local avian community where I reside, Parrots of The Hills Bird Club was founded as a 501c3 organization which is in its 11th year of existence. I love meeting new people, their bird families and connecting with others who share an interest in the well-being of parrots.

I’ve had a passion for animals all my life but a focused passion for parrots in the past 16 years. My lively and sometimes noisy household consists of Black Jack, Sparky, Skippy, Dippy and Bugsy who are Nanday, Jenday, and Blue Crown Conures, respectively. And there’s Bijoux, a Congo African Grey and Cosmo, a 5 lb Maltese mix poodle. All found their way into our hearts and home through rehoming opportunities. Oh, and the humans are husband Eric and son Trenton.

I hope to have the opportunity to meet all Oasis supporters via email or in person. Feel free to contact me via email or phone.
