Snowy

Snowy is a female Umbrella Cockatoo who hatched in 1996. Snowy spent her early life in a pet store and life was unstable and hectic. She developed some early feather destructive behaviors while at the pet store but rehabilitation by her rescuer helped Snowy develop healthy behaviors. She is an accomplished flier so she resides in our Girls’ Cockatoo Aviary. Snowy is a bit hesitant with strangers but she just loves to be cuddled in the arms of trusted Caregivers. Snowy is lucky in that she gets visits from the couple who rescued and rehabilitated her – well, that and the fact that she has a forever home at The Oasis Sanctuary.
