Your Help Makes a Difference! Join Us for Our Next Volunteer Day
The Oasis recognizes and is grateful to all those who contribute their time, talents, and energy to the sanctuary.
Following the incredible success of our previous events last spring and fall, we are inspired to schedule another opportunity for our community to come together and make a real difference.
May 2 will be packed full of tasks at the sanctuary that we really need help with. We are seeking a group of hard workers who can give us their time for the entire day. The number of volunteers is limited for better organization and efficiency.
Registered volunteers will be assigned to workgroups to focus on these tasks:
- De-winterization of aviaries – Removing polycarbonate panels from the aviaries, staging them for storage. Removing heaters, cords, and stands from aviaries to storage.
- Aviary clean up and maintenance
- Grounds clean up and beautification
What: A day to engage volunteers to help with sanctuary work and other tasks while providing positive interactions and connection to our mission.
When: Saturday, May 2, 2026, 9:45am-4pm (need to commit to the entire day).
Where: The Oasis Sanctuary, Cascabel, AZ (lunch and water will be provided – meat and vegetarian options. If you have diet restrictions, we ask that you bring your lunch.)
Registration is required:
- Complete the interest/questionnaire form HERE which will help us match skills to works areas and tasks.
- Read and complete the volunteer waiver form.
Deadline to submit the interest/questionnaire form is April 18.
